In the words of the most important person...
Testimonial from the Owner
When I was a child my father was a carpenter a word still used these days generally but I'm afraid a species hard to find, I still remember the wonderful smell of the wood work building he worked in, the aromas of freshly planned and reworked trees and the magical shapes and furniture they created. Many years later I had the opportunity to award the complete refurbishment contract OF ISLANDA to their yard a full two-year project
Though out the project my senses were awoken, the craftsman ship has been superb and my exacting aspirations for Islanda made possible Heather, Steven’s wife, the in - house designer who understands wooden boats has great ideas and a keen ear to interpret the customers wishes creating, via Steve’s wonderful committed craftsmanship, liveable space within the confines of a rounded hull Islanda now graces the Thames at Henley and will tour the south coast next autumn.
Thank you Dennetts , a true childhood dream made possible !
